ALEXANDRA BALTZI
Alexandra Baltzi is a visual artist born in Greece in 2000

Her practice centers on the female figure and on emotional narratives shaped by environment, identity, and memory. Working primarily in oil paint, she explores the fluid boundaries between sensuality, vulnerability, and strength, often creating atmospheric scenes in which the body becomes both character and landscape. Her interest in gloss, light, and expressive texture informs a visual language that moves between realism and fantasy, drawing inspiration from animation, fashion, femme fatale archetypes, and contemporary figurative painting.
Alexandra studied Fine Arts at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where she began developing her research on femininity, sexuality, and the psychological layers of self-presentation. Her recent projects investigate the relationship between the female body and natural environments, seeking parallels between human emotional states and the rhythms of the natural world.
Through expressive brushwork and atmospheric compositions, she aims to create images that feel both intimate and uncanny, inviting viewers to consider the complexity of feminine identity beyond stereotypes. Alexandra currently lives and works in Greece.
