D Contemporary was established in a prestigious Mayfair location seven years ago to specialize in two areas; to help newly graduating and emerging artists gain exposure to the commercial art world far earlier than might otherwise be possible and to showcase contemporary art from dynamic artistic communities around the world, typically, markets with limited access in the London art scene. Since its start D Contemporary has hosted over 50 exhibitions, the majority promoting young artists and raising the profile of new international art markets. Underlying its efforts is a strong, proven commitment to diversity and inclusion, in particular the promotion of opportunities for emerging artists, collectors and art professionals from diverse backgrounds.

As our beloved home at 23 Grafton Street undergoes an exciting renovation, D Contemporary will be temporarily relocating to 1 Birdcage Walk.

Situated in the heart of Westminster, just moments from St James’s Park and the Houses of Parliament, Birdcage Walk is a historic and prestigious location, long associated with innovation and culture. We are delighted to host our exhibitions and events in such a distinguished setting while we prepare an even better experience for you at Grafton Street.
