NEAL CAMILLERI

Neal Camilleri is a Maltese contemporary artist and ceramic sculptor based in London, whose practice explores memory, childhood, belonging, identity, and the landscapes and material culture of Malta. Working between Malta and London, Camilleri creates sculptures that sit between the familiar and the imagined — objects carrying feeling, gesture, and the quiet stories of everyday life.

Clay is central to his practice, valued for its immediacy and expressive potential. For larger works, he incorporates materials including wood, metal, and resin, allowing scale, texture, and physical presence to become integral to the work. Colour runs throughout his practice, shaping mood, atmosphere, and tone.

Camilleri studied Ceramics at Central Saint Martins and has exhibited internationally across London, Ireland, New York, and Malta. His sculptures are held in private collections internationally, with commissioned works forming part of collections across the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States. He welcomes enquiries from collectors, galleries, art advisors, interior designers, and architects, including bespoke sculpture commissions.
